Should we be proud of these?

These are some photos,quotes and videos which will never be published in the old media due to law restrictions but in cyberspace, there are simply no boundaries.People can do whatever they want and what they upload can be offensive and disgusting at times.

Will or will not this harm social harmony? Malaysia is a country with multi races and faiths. How do you explain to kids who are computer literate about these photos that emerged on the Internet? The new generation can easily be influenced through manipulated images, stories and other forms of information disseminated without restrictions over the Internet.

So let us take a closer look and reconsider whether absolute freedom is really what we need because from what I can see, there are so many manipulative individuals, groups, organizations who would do anything on the Internet to ensure their objectives are fulfilled. Unless all Malaysians are educated and have the capability to filter innformation by being computer and information literate citizens, certain kinds of restrictions need to be imposed.

The new media has connected people all over the world through since the inauguration of the Internet has so many amazing functions that would bring good to the people in many fields including education as well as the businesses and a number of commercial industries but looking at the current scenario it is just worrying to what extend people would go to get things happened their way.

Let us not dwell on limitations we have to express our ideas or the wonders of the new media but instead let us take a look beyond and think of the freedom we have on the Internet and the impacts it may or has even done to the social harmony.

The 13^th May incident must be avoided. Flames of hatred must not be ignited. Do not provoke. do not spark racial tension. Let us embrace technology with good intentions as ill ones will only lead to destruction and catastrophe. We should focus on becoming a better nation not only economically or technologically but as a country that has harmonious citizen, just like the description we would tell over and over again to the visiting foreigners.

So the BIG question is, freedom of the new media is something that we may all want but is it really what we need?

Pardon me for the title. Do you find these phrases shocking? Or it is common to see them on the Internet? This is a statistic which was recorded up until March 20,2011 through Google search engine of an appalling situation in the Internet. I am called upon to respond to the outrageous information provided in a feature written by Dr. Rahmat Ghazali titled “Kesan Kebiadaban di Dunia Siber” (The impact of indecency in the cyber world) in Utusan Malaysia dated April 18 2010.

The only question that lingers on my mind is what happened to national unity,what happened to manners and yes, what happened to humanity. How can anybody write anything so disgusting. We grew up listening to stories of unity,watching cartoon series that celebrates solidarity among us Malaysian, yet these are the things written on the Internet, Melayu Babi, Cina Celaka and Keling Sial. How do you explain this?

The statistics shows that there is much improvement required to truly achieve the idea of 1Malaysia as the scenario proves that not all Malaysian are into making Malaysia a harmonious country with its multi racial diversity.

According to by Dr. Rahmat Ghazali ethics should be practised with restriction or limitation to speech freedom as there existing Internet users who seem to forget all about ethics and turn themselves into subjects with animalistic behaviour.

Does the freedom of speech practise in the new media has brought us the calamity? People have no boundaries to express themselves may just created racial tension?This leads to a bigger question , has the freedom given to the public in the Internet through Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 is being misuse therefore it should be restricted?

Should there be a certain rules and regulations imposed on those who failed to express themselves against morale conduct? Should there be restriction? I believe civilization should be driven by civilized people. People or community who can express themselves with ethical conducts without having a rigid law guiding them but instead self manners therefore think about it, we are in our way of becoming a develop country with high income but if all of us keep acting and thinking like people of a third world countries, what’s the use of development after all?

Have you been to Universal Studios Singapore?

For those who have not, trust me every penny spent is worth it based on my recent short trip during the month of Shawwal with my family.

You get to try out world's tallest duelling roller coasters, Battlestar Galactica. (Seriously , it's scary even for those adrenaline push addicts and you'll even watch a stunning 'live' water show with gruesome explosions and people jumping from a tower into water (shocking!). These two attractions were my favourites besides Steven Spielberg, Lights, Camera, Action! special effects show. The fantastic special effects consisted of fire, water and wind elements blew me away.

Adding up to the hype and probably what will make me revisit the theme park is

Transformers Ride!

Here are some good news for those who are intrigued.

That's when the highly anticipated Transformers theme park ride at Universal Studios Singaporethrows its doors open to the public.

Gracing the exclusive gala premiere of "Transformers: The Ride" a day earlier will be none other thanMichael Bay, director and executive producer of the Transformers blockbuster franchise and the attraction's creative consultant.

"I am very excited about the debut of this attraction at Universal Studios Singapore. Finally, Transformers fans will not only have the chance to watch the Autobots battle the Decepticons on screen; they'll actually be part of the action," Bay said.

In a statement, USS said the motion thrill ride will showcase the most advanced evolution of immersive theme park entertainment. It will feature 12 scenes, comprising sets blended seamlessly with hyper-realistic 3-D digital media and special effects to bring tactile realism to every moment.

Guests will be transported onboard advanced motion-based ride vehicles into the Transformers universe and partake in a 3D battle against Decepticons alongside the Autobots.

Enlisted as Nest recruits, thrill-seekers will be tasked to help the Autobots protect a remaining shard of the Allspark — a powerful energy cube that gives life to the Transformers.

As the Decepticons attack the facility in a bid to obtain the shard, guests will be introduced to a new Autobot — Evac — created exclusively for the ride, which will bring them through 3-D subway tunnels, down city streets and across rooftops at breakneck speed.

Bali Earthquake 2011 victims- my prayers are with you

What if your country is hit by a force of nature? your dad or your little sister is injured? what would you do and how would you feel?

Bali, the renowned mythical island located was shaken by a 6.1 magnitude earthquake yesterday in its south region near to Nusa Dua, which left more than 50 people injured suffering head wounds and broken bones in the south of the island. Some are critically injured according to news reports. Let's pray that they are all safe, no matter what race,religion or nationality you are because we are all the same.

The schools,homes,temples and even the airport which are 62 km away from the earthquake were affected. Lombok and Java, the neighboring island also felt the quake.

I hope that the island will soon recover from this devastating tragedy as despite no lives were taken, this particular incident may affect its huge tourism industry.The beautiful island has so much to offer from beautiful beaches to great authentic Balinese culture and food. Hopefully this painful event will not hinder people from all over the world to visit Bali.

From ipod to iphone and to ipad. His invention was nothing but spectacular gaining worldwide recognition as nothing but world's best products especially for the young technology savvy youth. His motto of creating gadgets that infuse elegance and functional elements has made him who he was,a remarkable inventor.

Jobs, who has created thousands of job opportunities as the number of Apple current employees are at 49,000 and the person who reshaped ways we interact with computers, today has departed and left us at the age of 56 due to a number of health problems.

Self-centered, can this be a label for the youth? Would it be too harsh or it actually does reflect the truth? Reality is bitter yes, but one needs to see that we are no longer the country we once was, regarded as a nation filled with courteous people, renowned for its well-mannered, kind hearted dwellers, it hardly applies to us, the perception that our people are nice, thoughtful especially to the youth nowadays. The blame should not be put on their shoulders, this new era with the advancement of technology and competitive, fast paced world made everyone thinks about nothing but their goals, their quests and their ambitions. Along the way, the youth lost the sense of humanity, nothing matters but success. We missed the crucial part of living, to live in a community and to be part of it as a whole. We are focused on ourselves, our stories , our problems when there are other things or other people who might need our help and we could just walk passed them and can not care less about them. Yes, there are reliable ones, those who can carry the legacy or courteous Asians but hey, let me ask you this, How many you think there are out there? How many can differentiate what’s good only for themselves but not for the community? Adding value can be from the act of transforming a person’s life in total, or in the simplest form of smiling to a beggar, if not handing him 50 cents of your money as, it would made him feel more of a person rather than a just a beggar, who would be labeled as a nuisance . Adding value is a concept everybody needs to practice as gradually, the world can be a more beautiful place for each individual. If you take one just a minute of your morning, right before you crossed over the road rushing to catch the LRT, and help a ‘makcik’ cross a road just by holding her hand gently giving her a sense of security, you are adding value to a person, making her day much brighter than it would be. Sometimes, all we need is to start making changes in our lives, we can start by doing something for the community through volunteering, spending our time doing charity work for the orphanages, old folks homes, if those activities are too time consuming, take a small step today, pick up that little rubbish in front of you and put in the proper bin, help a blind cross a road, give your seat to an elderly and from there, we build a better version of ourselves as these acts of kindness, lead to a better tomorrow for both you and me.

~Singapore Budget Roadtrip~

It was an unplanned trip…..zuhry’s bday was the night before so since he had several more days off he suggested that we go somewhere for a vacation…..considering the fact I’m running low on allowance I told him to just go to Singapore….we met Yatie at the bday party and she said she wants to tag along …..to make it merrier I called my sister and she said she wanted to join the team….so there we are in the car at 5 o’clock in the morning heading to Singapore……..we got there around 1 p.m and the journey was hilarious with camwhoring session and abundant of self-ridiculed jokes (sesi perli-memerli secara terus dan langsung) to entertain ourselves……The journey cost us around RM170 return including the toll fare and the fuel~we took the bus from Johor Bharu Sentral which cost us RM2 each to Bugis Street area where the MRT is really near and each journey will cost u less than $2 to go from one point to another.

Instead of heading to Sentosa Island straight from Bugis Street, we went to Bugis Junction to grab something to eat where we had pasta at Pasta Mania-then we saw Topman where I bought a pair of jeans for myself whereas for Zuhry, he got himself several t-shirts ~so much for a budget roadtrip.

Then we went to Sentosa Island…..wonder around…take literally thousands of photos….the Merlion, The Hershey’s chocolate store…The Universal studios (we didn’t go in coz it was almost four when we got there…..tot it’d b a waste of money not be able to enjoy all the rides) then we went to the beach and stroll along sambil mencuci mata dengan girls with bikinis….my sis n yatie…..had a fair share of eye candy staring session…..the hunky Singaporean boys playing volleyball on the beach.

After a whole day of sighseeing we went to Orchard Road to grab something to fill in our drumming stomach but instead we were stuck in this mall where I was lured into buying a pair of Zara shoes which cost me 80$ whereas my sister bought a Charles and Keith purse…..Zuhry got himself two shirts from Zara Youth. We couldn’t find any restaurant to eat as we couldn’t find an agreement on where and what kinda of food we want to have so instead we went back to Johor Bharu and had our supper at Danga Bay. The whole trip was extremely tiring and filled with dramas,movies,sinetrons and so on I have to say but it turned out to be one of the best vacation I had….unplanned,chaotic,tiring yet made me so happy….and owh yeah…Happy “15^th “ Birthday Zuhry!....i hope u had a blast.

:) Memory last forever they say...i hope it does coz this trip was just too great to forget.

Genting Highlands.

Last Saturday, i went to Genting Higlands for my class field trip for photography subject despite the fact i do not take the subject but what the hell, since everybody's going i had no other choice but to attend the trip especially taking into consideration my Head's of Degree Programme (Communication Management and Policy) sms telling me to go since the faculty has paid for the whole class.I went along with my classmates. Being frank i thought the trip would be horrible as Speedzone is being held at Genting and the next day Anugerah Bintang Popular took place, while i had to be stuck at Genting View Resort doing nothing but accompanying friends doing their so called 'photoshoots'. I recalled those days back in when i was doing my diploma in 2006 when we were at penang doing our outdoor photoshoot . We were more exposed to the techniques and it was really hard to please our dearly loved Prof Kubon but these classmates of mine had it easy which is good for them as they had fun and that was the whole point of going to Genting and I had fun, we had very little time but we managed to enjoy ourselves and i got to know several friends more than i really do and it surprised how different their personalities are compared to what i've labelled them. I hope in years to come as i will have to spend the next three years with them i will be able to foster a strong bond with them for betterment of both my social life and academic performance.

It's 4th of January 2010 and i'm absolutely clueless on where im going with life. I've registered last Saturday as a student of degree in communication and policy management, it was less hectic that what i expected and right now while I'm jotting this little piece of my thought, i am supposed to go and get myself s student id at campus but somehow i don't feel like going, it occured to me that I'm not excited like what I used to feel when I was registering for my diploma, when everything seems fun, when it seemed as if I could conquer the world and do anything, when I was really sure that writing and filmaking was what I wanted to do in life and I was at a point of life where I could see myself in 10 years time successful and working for a prolific production company, have written numbers of good scripts but it turned out that i was sick with the whole politics going on at where I studied and lose interest and confidence that I am able to be what I have always dreamt of. I am now aspired to be involved a corporate communication after being exposed to the world of journalism, I see that u will make more money if u venture into that line but yet i am not sure if it really is my passion. Im gonna turn 22 on June and it scares the hell out of me for not knowing what i want in life.It really does.

It was a tragic accident for all of family members last Dec 7 when the hardware store which had been operating since 30 years ago were completely destroyed in a fire causing us a loss of nearly half a million. We cried on seeing the shop burnt down and roof collapsed, cap of metal cans flew high and landed on the road with thunderous sound of explosive as if it was a celebration of a new year. The fire brigades came early but is was of no use as the water from their tank was just like a boy taking a leak, I wonder how did the fire dept become so stupid they didn’t know where to get the water from, with all the advancements of tech, isn’t there any way they can get access to the location of pipelines all over a residential areas?? We were drenched in tears, it was a chaotic evening, my uncles cried, funny I thought to see my uncles crying out loud like babies asking for milk, sobbing over their unrelenting hard work to keep the store running all this years, the place where they get money to pay for their homes, their fancy cars, their kids’ school fees, now it’s gone. My atok sat still on his chair watching the fire consumed all his effort to build up the store. He may be the one who looked calm that night but I know deep inside he was tormented .What made it even worst, the moment the fire was put out, my uncle carried safe cash box on his shoulder, thinking there must be money in the case that aren’t burnt, every bit of hope we had were crushed when we saw all the money has turn partly into ashes if not whole. The next day it was all over media from tv3 to RTM and even published in Utusan and some random Chinese newspaper, One of the workers at my atok’s store asked me the day after the fire whether I did write anything about the accident in NST, I was so damn pissed with his insensitivity that I ignored him (feels like punching him, I’ll try to get my nenek to fire him ,he’s fucking annoying) the whole time we were cleaning up the store, collecting metals, whatever we can get to sell it off to besi buruk, we may be burdened with this gigantic obstacle but we are bouncing back, my aunty told one of my sisters to wipe off the tears and start helping with the cleaning the morning following the aftermath, there is no point of breaking down because we need to move on. When we were put under these circumstances, we learn to be grateful to Allah, even the slightest spark of hope of made us happy, my uncle found a case full with coins and we were overjoyed, we know it’s nothing compared to what we loss but it made us happy that god didn’t take it all from us, we are determined to make sure the store will be back in operation soon, we are building a new store now, my aunties are currently residing at my grandmom’s to help at the store during daytime, my sister took unpaid leave for the whole month to help with paperworks, me and the rest of male cousins help with good’s lifting and cleaning, I guess it’s a blessing in a disguise coz when I look at it, for the first time after all these years, there is a sense of solidarity between us, the whole family united to get the store back on operation.

I managed to sailed through the first week of internship without being harshly reprimanded or cursed, i felt blessed-heh-
It's just crazy and i mean crazy especially when u need to go to an assignment on your own only on the second day of your internship when your other intern-mate get to follow their seniors for almost a week.
It's a fun job i would say as u get to meet different people from all walks of life daily and i got to say most of them are really nice to u. the moment u tell them u are from the press,they'll start treating like vip~yeah,they want to get publicised ang good coverage on their events- i got to go to all kind of events some were exciting some were very tiring especially when u got to wait under the hot sun when a ceremony is being executed-from the eye opening visit to charity houses-name it-orphanage,old folks or even disabled to launching ceremony of events like the 9th French Film Festival and Puma street party in Laundry.They are not hot news or major events but i got to start somewhere-like my intern mate from University of Michigan,Suda always said.She just got back from US but did not bring along the swine virus with her fortunately-we were asked to do a few assignments together this second week-it was fun and very comforting to have someone who is going through what u are going through and understand what it feels like to be an intern and not knowing what questions to ask to make your story is complete and u won't b scolded by the editor-lucky me my editor is amazingly cool-she has this calm aura around her and she will tell u things with a motherly tone, firm yet gentle in contrast to what people usually say about female bosses.

owh yeah i came like an hour to the office yesterday morning,about ten-as usual i would go and pick up the papers-all sorts-Berita harian,Metro and surely NST-but i was interested in reading the entertainment sections in both malay papers so i finished up reading those sections then i opened up streets section in nst and i felt like jumping off my feet when i saw my first byline-i was really shocked and happy-finally there is something for to show to my internship supervisor-Then i flipped few pages and saw another one-god-it feels good-sex like~haha kidding~i know it's nothing big but i'm glad i've finally got my story published and my name is stated there.i guess i'm finally on the right track to become a journalist-the job is tiring but it's one hell of experience.

House Hunting

I wiil be reporting on 4th May at New Straits Times as an intern for the Street Desk.Despite the fact my place is only 20 minutes away from the office.I thought of renting a room somewhere nearer to the office as it would be more convenient for me-to skip the traffic in the morning-and I’d get to know more people-the housemates-so we did house hunting-me and my dear internship-mate-Darwina.We also had Amira and Wani coming with us as they’re looking for a place near Jalan Semarak-they’re doing their practical with a Production House which I do not remember the name of the company.
We spent hours looking for the right place-but what was unforgettable is this room in Bangsar area,just at the back of NSTP building,the cost is rm400 a month-affordable and near-but we would have to share the place with six other people-a Bangladeshi guy,A Malay Couple,an Indian Couple and an Indian lady.The man who was showing us around kept talking about how quiet the place is and nobody would come and disturb us-“ini tempat takde orang kacau punya”-over and over again-assuming he thought that me and Darwina are lovers looking for a place to make love-yes,we are planning on staying together-but hell no we are making love-haram-heh-we smiled to him and told him that we’ll contact him-and yes I forgot to mention that the toilet is horrendous-Pudu Bus Station toilet like if u know what I mean.Then we went to Murni Apartment in somewhere near Damai,Mira and Wani decided to stay there,they’ve got a room with real cheap fees-but don’t be fooled by the name of the place as it look like nothing like a Murni place but an old apartment looking more like a flat to me but it’s really near to their workplace-I mean it’s in walking distance and it has everything they need-laundry,stalls,grocery shops-and they do not have own transport so to live there is the wisest choice to be made.Darwina found a place in a condominium next to University’s Putra LRT Station.A nice place with a warm house-mates-I mean she was really nice to her-and that was yesterday-it’s too early to assumed she’s fine as she might be a pain in the ass as Darwina started living with her right-hope she’s not.After that we went to this cheap karaoke place in Jalan Imbi-sang our heart out-went back to Puncak Perdana after we had our dinner/supper at Kedai Kopi-and this was the first time I spent a day with my classmates-they’re fun-maybe it’s time for me to get to know them better-the rest of them.Owh yeah-I got a room in Taman Desa,Danau Murni Condo. Thanks to Nuar for introducing me to Syarul-a staff in NSTP who offered me to stay with him.

His father had just passed away
just like that
I was supposed to meet him later that day but he called and said that he needs to cancel it as his father is gone. I was shocked, told him to be strong and hung up.
I felt really bad as it hit me that he had just lost his father-for ever-
I texted him and told him to inform me if he needed any favor
and so he did.
He asked me if I can accompany him to the hospital
he needed someone to talk to and he just can't bear the sight of his father-lifeless-
When we got there-the sister ran into his arms and cried-she’s only nine and may not know the consequences of loosing a father-the breadwinner-but she knows that the person she loves the most who is always there for her, when she’s going to school, waited for her when she gets back, tuck her in to sleep and occasionally kisses her and tell her that he loves her, is no longer around.
Then the mother hugged him and the three of them cried for the abrupt loss.
Yes, abrupt, sudden loss. He collapsed and he's gone, the doctor said that if the ambulance was not that late-they took almost an hour to arrive-He could have been saved.
It’s a brain tumor, he had it 25 years ago, but it was removed. It came back and spread but he didn’t know better.
His friends came and visited and paid their last respect, They were all musicians,Nuar told me that he was a guitarist and was nice to the people around him, always the one who cracks jokes and his friends cried and talked about the memories they shared. I wonder if there would be as many friends as there were today at his death when I die or would I die alone.
We went to Kg Jawa,Klang as he once said that if he dies,he wants to be buried in the place he grew up.His mother was lying down not too far away from his body in the hall,She is bedridden and has been that way for years and I saw her staring at her child’s body lying on the floor covered with sarong.I'm sure her heart is wrenched seeing her child passed away,the child she had in her womb for nine months and she raised to be a man is now gone,before her.
I went home at 12 driving straight to my place.

I believe it to be in contrast.
He showed me how fragile life is,how someone could just leave u in a second and it would be for good or how god would just take away the life he had been lending u without having the chance to bid farewell.

THE MEAN GIRLS

I had a blast last night, being together and having a ball with not only my friends but as well as the whole ex-badgemate. We dance and scream and indulge into camwhoring.It sure was a night not to be forget. Despite the fact I’m now a semester five student we’re still close as we used to be and I hope it will remain the same when they leave this faculty as most of them will be leaving to degree in masscom, yes, masscom as what we are studying now is the creative half of masscom as what we were told in semester one by our ex-head department miss aida or something,so continuing studies in masscom will only compliment our diploma and do good for the career unless if you’re really are into filmmaking then to stay in Screen department would be a wise choice. Nonetheless they are also some of us who are leaving uitm for good as they’re going to get married soon like Fitriyani or fit who just recently wore tudung permanently as a preparation of becoming a wife,so is ainur,mai and yes the guys are getting hitch to like Wan Landak for instance and others,I wish they will have the best marriage that will last for good. I wonder how fast the time flies that some of us are now ready for commitment and are going to follow different path as we parted away form our studies. When they sang memori tercipta most people was touched ,people with tender heart and love their friends and to leave soon is not a happy moment maybe yes as they’re graduating soon but sad to leave their friends as doesn’t matter how we deny it things are still going to change and be different and we’re going to miss this moment, Lynn touched my heart (I’m not a wimp,hehe) as she had tears rolling down her cheek as she was singing and hugging each other(while camwhoring in the same time,it was a bit like Akademi Fantasia ending) I wonder where will go after this and what will happen to us in five years time.Will i be a journalist or a photographer or will I be working in tv station like TV3 or RTM as producer or maybe a retail supervisor or I will get to be a photojournalist and travel around the world?.Will amer be ‘The Editor’?,will Lyn and Mira be a producer at tv station?,will Tompel be working as a Radio Announce?,will Atim be a great journalist,will syaz be a great designer,Will lead,aina and the rest of Manis be famous and an award winning band? Will Jaja Kadir produce another great film?....in a big scale and will Zara be a lecturer and educate with her grace? Will Khairul.Jaimie,Amer,Abby become sombebody in performing arts industry,will Radhi aka abang aka Mohd Faizal achieve his ambition in becoming a lecturer if he doesn't get a post in tv production as he is now sitting next to me,and yes future is not predictable?

I guess we just have to wait and see.

*Yup, I do regret the fact that I extended my studies for a semester coz otherwise I would have graduated by the end of this semester .

It’s two o'clock in the morning and I’m just plain bored. I thought of writing what happen today in my life, but there wasn't anything special, I want to classes, finish up on my assignments, went to One Utama and watch Hotel for Dogs, and back to boredom, It makes me ponder upon what had happened a few weeks ago, and the annoyance plus frustration produced by this one particular incident. It's amazing how people would be pleasing you to get what they want don’t you think? Being nice with hidden agendas and pretending they like you and yet badmouthed you at your back.I just thought it’s plain stupid to entertain these people and yet I tend to fall for their first class acting. It’s time for me to screen my friends I said to myself, divide them into certain groups, the ones who would be there through thick and thin, The ones who would enjoy your company but will leave you when there are things they need to attend to and only see you when their leisure times fit your schedule otherwise they would totally forget about you and the ones who would be really nice abruptly when they need things or favor. I’ve made the final assessment of the group they belong respectively and I’ve a vivid picture now of who is to avoid and who is to be nice with coz I tend to be too nice too at times and it’s taking its toll on me I guess, I felt used. I may no longer be their friends after this and somehow create animosity and I mean in big volume towards myself from other people, but it’s time to please myself, no one else but myself

Jonker walk-The Calanthe art cafe-the 13's state coffee shop-The Bamboo Hut-Dataran Pahlawan-Al-Amin-

We drove late in the morning to get breakfast-wander along all the way from the Stadhuys to Jonker Street and found this little boutique cafe that somehow attracted us-but had to wait for about half an hour before we can actually eat there so decided to walk around and found this restaurant,Bamboo hut and since we're damn hungry and tired and it's really hot and yes lots and lots of coplaint by Dr Zuhry,we just sat and ordered,food not good,pricey,service was appalling,bad luck but at least we've tried it out,it is located next to this quaint museum,near St Paul's hill-then we walk-again-this time all the way to Dataran Pahlawan to watch movie-Marley And Me-then only go and fill up our tummies at te Calanthe Art Cafe for lunch.food was good,despite the fact it is kopitiam sort of shop,they actually serve Peranakan Cuisine.Then we picked up Daus, and watch Dragonball evolution,yes we tend to watch movies a lot,after that we were supposed to play bowling but Daus was out of cash as his atm card was somehow not functioning and the queue was too long to wait for,then we head up to Al-Amin with Ted.He showed us the way since he's been living in Malacca for two years(MMU's student and hating Malacca)

Atok wanted to get his kopiah as the one his using is stained and look a bit weary. We headed to Masjid India,Walk around and found the kopiah he wanted(it's a kopiah but looks like songkok and have a very soft material-The spesific kopiah he wanted was really hard to find trust me-)

My sister bought some sarong for my mom and got herself fake fragrance, .Me and Lily wanted to ourselves fragrances as well but we don't use fake stuff(brand conscious,i know,but that's how we were taught,it's either original or u just get urself cheap stuff).We decided to go to SoGO AND GET OURSELVES WHAT WE WANTED.My sister wanted to get herself a watch considering i just got two brand new watch and none for herself so she decided to agree to our plan.

February's Farewell.

I went to Malacca twice as course requirement (a subject where we were required to do a report of the culture and lifestyle of the villagers in Kampung Sungai Rambai through a homestay program.we stayed there for 6 days in the first visit,we had our own foster parents who guided us throughout our stay) initially but we were out of ideas of what to be written in the report so we went again coz all we did was play games in the Village Day Festival or something and wander around between the border of Melacca and Johore up to Mount Ledang.-Mount Ledang Waterfall.

For the second visit we got more information like where's the villagers graveyard, where is the school,the health centre (see my point?...not exactly important details which was why we thought it didn't matter(yeah rite) and btw,I got to rubber tap the first time I went.(yup,the pic shows my really dark skin,due to the heat,extreme i must say when we were out playing games for the festival.my skin was peeling for three days,but it's worth it)

I was also extremely excited when I saw this stream which I thought was A river but instead A drain or what they would call ‘Ban’.Dirty?...yes but fun….and there were leeches too.I got to do some kayaking as there were this festival or something so there were all this merry making stuff so we got to do kayaking, paintball and few others.We got to try all this new food like 'tapai daun getah' (fermented rice wrapped in rubber tree leaves).

Bottomline,it was fun! and owh yeah...despite the fact i had my own foster parents i was closer to Pak Su Kancil and his wife because they're super cool

We went to Mallaca for the second time.had a blast even for just two days,we went to shoot some important places in the village.This time,our senior,Miss E'e tagged along.We went to Port Dikcson on the way back and bumped into our lecturer with his wife and kids (we thought he was homo,thank god he's not). We jumped and run on the beach like we've never seen one.(too childish to be true)

6)Watched this pile of good movies…The curious case of Benjamin Button (cool),Changelling (let’s feel wrenched ),Upin dan Ipin (hilarious,Malaysia boleh gak!),The New Girl in Town (stick up and u’ll win),Eden Lake (fucking drivin me up to the wall), Sexdrive (erm,I should do this,I’m a virgin too) and few other forgettable movies as well.

March
1) Need to check up on my lungs.

4) Need to get all the final assignments done so I get to do absolutely nothing.

NO,It just happens that i have photography as a minor in my course so i did learn how to use a camera properly and we had to buy one as course requirement but i'm not a photographer,but yes,i love to snap photos.

Now.
I'm not exactly a professional
but i guess i'm now officially a photographer
the magazine i work for
INDULGENCE
has launched its first issue
last disember
i know it's february now
but i just got myself the copy of it
as i changed my number,my e-mail and everything
the management wasn't able to contact me to inform.
It is the first heritage magazine in Malaysia

~missing childhood~

At times I wish I’m 10 years old. When you are still a little child and yet big enough to understand life, where things seem to be so easy and you can dream of being anything you want coz the world is full of opportunities and miracles happened everywhere. When there was nothing that matters except your daily allowance, dragon ball comic collection and tamiya cars (ok,that was my childhood) and yes, Haziqah ,a classmate I was very fond of(puppy love,hehe).You do not have any burden except to go to school and adhere to the regulations of school. Go home and eat then go out again to play with your friends, be it hide and seek, dodgeball or even playing kite when the season comes, it’s always fun and more fun, then we would go home, eat and sleep and the cycle goes till you reach a different phase. As I grow up things are just not the way I wanted them to be and it's clear that in life things are harder as you grow up but I really do wish at times that I am ten, where I would know who to turn to when I’m in trouble and yes at that age, any friends are real friends as they don't judge you or be your friends for any specific reason to cater to their motives but just there to be your friends, and at ten, love don't exist, attracted maybe but not in love, not just yet so it was so less hassle, not saying being in love is a hassle but it gets really messy sometimes. And at ten u can dream of being a lawyer or a millionaire and still be happy if you don't get to be one tomorrow coz you know there's always ten years from now but at the age of twenty one, life’s just not going to get the way you want it if you don’t work hard today.
